Watch: Virtual Launch for Amo's Sapotawan
On October 11, 2022, the Six Seasons of the Asiniskaw Īthiniwak virtually launched its latest publication Amo's Sapōtawan. It is the second book in the series and tells the story of the Rocky Cree girl Amo, who is about to decide which path in life she will follow. Speakers at this event included: William Dumas (Six Seasons storyteller and mentor, author of Amō's Sapotawan), Mavis Reimer (Six Seasons Project Director), and Rhian Brynjolson (illustrator of Amō's Sapotawan). The event was moderated by Warren Cariou, co-chair of the Six Seasons Story Team. Margaret Dumas performed a reading of an excerpt from the book. You can watch the recording of this event here.

The Library Ladies' Review of the Six Seasons Series
This review discusses the first two books in the Six Seasons series: Pīsim Finds Her Miskanaw and Amō's Sapotawan. The reviewer writes: "Incredibly rich in detail, historical notes, and culture, “Pīsim Finds Her Miskanaw” and “Amō’s Sapotawan” are both great introductions to Rocky Cree history and culture as well as gentle, heartwarming stories about finding oneself."
