Six Seasons Presentations at Alternate Histories Symposium

On March 7, Six Seasons of the Asiniskow Ithiniwak researchers Doris Wolf and Kevin Brownlee will be presenting on the Six Seasons project at the Alternate Histories Symposium at the University of Manitoba (409 Tier Building). Both presentations are part of the “Shifting the Relationships between Indigenous Knowledge and Settler Discourses” panel from 10:15AM to 11:25AM. Dr. Wolf will be presenting “Challenging Stereotypes by Restorying History in William Dumas’s Pīsim Finds Her Miskanow” and Mr. Brownlee will be presenting “Interweaving Cree Traditional Knowledge with That Deriving from Archaeology” on behalf of himself and Dr. Scott Hamilton.
